... Troop 425 Juliette Low Birthday Party
October activity for Crossroads Daisies and Brownies
limit:100 girls
four different stations with Girl Scout birthday activities
each troop to donate "complete party kit" for eight children
need: "Crossroads Association" on flyer, allergy information
see flyer for more details
Treasurers Report:
along with several donations, monies in account are being used
subsidies are being used in cases of events incurring expenses with no
income
theater events are largest expenses this year
reduction of extra monies will affect subsidy monies for next year
suggestion: maybe theater days on alternate years
Camporee expenses still coming in
canoeing refunds due to troops ($20 x 120 canoers)
some monies used for equipment that will benefit the future
Jane Medeiros plans to inventory all equipment and act as
"keeper"
note: association equipment is to be used for Girl Scout activities only
Jane would like to do a GPS Workshop in the Fall
maybe an Older Girl Canoe Trip in early September?
since this is the third year of "no canoeing" at Royaneh
looking for 30 canoes to rent
potential canoeing site at campgrounds 25 minutes from Tracy
$4,000 of final monies will be used for Camporee expenses
with monies getting lower, site reservations and "upfront" monies may need to be more conservative
Note: Council is sometimes issuing checks to third parties rather than association, troops, etc.
